Mosaic Monday: Pillow Party

I've made a mosaic of pillows today, to join with Rhondi's Pillow Party, at her beautiful blog Rose Colored Glasses. I love needlepoint pillows, searching for them in thrift stores and antiques shops. The white roses (top left) was found in an antiques shop. The pink butterflies (top right) came from a flea market, and the grapes (bottom center) was found at a rummage sale. None cost more than $5. The primroses (bottom left) was a Mother's Day gift, and the urn of flowers (bottom right) came from HomeGoods.

One of the things I would love to do this year is learn how to sew, and maybe get a very elementary sewing machine. Fabrics fascinate me, and I would love to be able to make my own pillows.
