Bon Voyage...

We said Bon Voyage to Florian our French exchange student this morning. We had to have him at the school by 7am, as the coach was leaving at 7.30am.
I hope that he's enjoyed his stay. He was a very pleasant and polite child and a pleasure to have.
We brought him a few presents to take home, all with a Welsh Theme, Money box, Mug and coaster, Notepad & Pen, playing cards and of course a Welsh Red Dragon. For his little Sister, we brought her a bag that carries a Welsh Dragon the wings are the clasp. Then for the Parents, we sent them some Tea Towels, with all the different places of interest around Wales and some Welsh Cakes.
On the home front, Ben my eldest is off to Scotland today, to see his Girlfriend Katie and Mick's parent's are coming today to stay for a week.
Yesterday, while I was checking the Ponies, I got a bit of a shock, Jasmine one of our Mares has already started to bag up, so we could have our first foal sooner then I thought. A Horse is normally pregnant for 340 days or eleven months, but in Miniatures it can be as early as 315 days. But 326 days is a good average. I'd been working on the dates for a normal sized Horse!!! Looks like we are going to have a very busy week. Especially, if I've got to play midwife...LOL.
